Eggs In the News
You may have heard the current news about an outbreak of salmonella enteritidis and the resulting large recall of shell eggs. Please be assured that, while none of our products are involved in any way with this recall, Radlo Foods is in total support of the recall as a critical public safety measure. After all, whether you purchase a Born Free egg or someone else’s brand, it’s important to us at Radlo that you always feel safe when you enjoy delicious, nutritious eggs.
The Food and Drug Administration works very hard to ensure that food is safe for consumers. At Radlo Foods, we not only embrace the FDA's food safety measures, we seek to exceed them. Radlo Foods Farms were already in compliance with the new regulations. Our objective is not only to meet all FDA standards, but to anticipate new food safety laws with innovations in the way we make our products safe.
That’s why you can purchase our eggs with complete confidence that all Radlo products are healthy, wholesome and safe!
To learn more about how Radlo ensures egg safety, please take a look at the Radlo Egg Safety and Quality Assurance Program and visit the Consumer Safety tab on our web site. For additional information about egg safety, and the most current news about the egg recall, visit The Egg Safety Center.
